City Center is the newest development on the Las Vegas Strip. Recently, I had a chance to explore the complex and capture some video of the architecture and art which help it make such in impact. CityCenter is one of the largest sustainable developments in the world, with six Gold LEED certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The fine art collection is equally impressive -- I particularly fell in love with the Henry Moore sculpture featured in this video as well as an ice carving installation which is part of the Crystals shopping complex.

The economic impact of the CityCenter project is significant. At $8.5 billion, City Center is said to be the largest privately funded real estate development in U.S. history. It has created approximately 12,000 permanent employees, making it the single largest hiring effort in the country in 2009.

  • City Center is amazing and beautiful!!! The artwork all around the mall there and the Casinos at the 'City Center' is tops, I very much enjoyed my time there! :) I can't wait to visit again.

  • All that beauty amid the most artificial of all places, a casino. They also serve nothing but unhealthy food.

  • place is pretty cool.

  • good stuff, thanks
