  • Excellent Performance... Great music i love that?

  • This is a soulless, dry, meaningless rendition of the qawwali. Reminds of "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy. Bad stuff.

  • Splendid music.

  • @nayakikanada ...all over the world. The versions that I have heard of this qawwali by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab have a different composition in the latter part: where the raag strikes in (06:57 onwards). The composition played here is the one that I have heard in the Sabri Brothers' composition. Regardless, this is splendid work I must say; and well-executed!.

  • @nayakikanada Man Kunto Maula is the basis of qawwali good sir. A qawwal who has not sung their own variation of Ameer Khusro's original composition cannot be called a qawwal at all. The reason: The word "Qawwali" originates from the word "qaul," which means "a saying." Man Kunto Maula fahaaza Ali-un-Maula" was a saying of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) of Islam. This Qaul was first composed by Hazrat Ameer Khusro and hence originated this great art that is recognized, adapted and loved by people...
