I was wondering who showed this special did ABC or NBC or maybe NBC showed it before it was on The Disney Channel I do know it was either on Valentine's Day or sometime before it maybe you guys would know anyways please let me know

This aired on NBC in September of '86. There was a slightly different version called DTV Valentine, which aired in February of '86.

I really feel sorry for the young kids of today, when they hear Disney, they would think that Disney is Hannah Montana, or Jonas Brothers, IT'S NOT!!! I go in the Disney store and that is all I see, either Miley or the JoBros, well, more of them than the actual disney stars meaning Mickey and the great classic Disney films. They wouldn't even know who THE Walt Disney is! They might as well take down the Walt Disney and Mickey statue in Disneyland, they won't know who they are! It's sickening.

my dad tapped this for me when i was born too bad I don't have a VHS anymore back before HD and DVDs I miss the good old fashion cartoons

I remember my dad recording this on VHS when it first aired, but I don't know whatever happened to that tape... I looked for a copy of it on Amazon, and all they have was it on VHS... I wish Disney would release this onto DVD... It would be SO cool! ^_^
