Sketching/Drawing on the HP slate 500

Quick video review on the HP slate 500. This review is geared more towards the ones that are looking for a tiny tablet that you can use as an art tablet on the go. I go over a few programs that work well on the slate. One I forgot to mention that works well is Manga studio along with paint.net.


Programs that work well on the HP Slate:
-Manga studio
-Sketchbook Pro
-Art Rage
-Photoshop (depends what you are doing)

Programs that do not work with pressure:
-Open Canvas
-SAI
-AZ painter

Do remember this slate is ntrig and not wacom, as I know that will get asked a lot :).

@BigFatLoserDude it's better being it is wacom. For art anything with wacom wins hands down.

remember that it has multitouch. you can scroll anywhere on the screen with your finger. you dont need to use the tiny scrollbar. most non tablet users dont know this. you guys make windows 7 look worse than it is for touch.

@mjktechgeek It doesn't matter how you use it, just however you want to. I choose to use the scroll bar which is fine. I just put chrome touch on it so it works closer to the ipad with web browsing. No need to be negative ;)

hp is soooo bad, i would never buy that ...looks cool though
