  • As Don's grandson, I can honestly say he's an amazing singer, all of his songs are truly amazing and I do enjoy listening to his music.

  • in 1956 I sang this at a school talent show--came in third--guess I am no Don Cherry--then again who is

  • I've collected all the records used on Buchanan & Goodman's "The Flying Saucer" except this one. Thanks for posting.

  • Don is backed by the Ray Conniff Orchestra and Chorus. Doesn't get any better than that!

  • the pride of wichita falls, texas.

  • @fubar1369 "Band of Gold" sung by Don Cherry was released as a 45 on Columbia 40597. The B side on this record was "Rumble Boogie."

  • This song was poplar my senior year (1956) in high school. It is a shame that we don't have singers and song like this today in the twilight of my life.
