@Gigaboss87 Thank you so much for being polite and civil, this was just something my friend Drippingquill and I did several years ago to practice our german. It's refreshing to see someone on youtube who isn't just demanding perfection from us. On another note, feel free to check out our translation of 'Nur ein wort'. It's a much better translation, when we were more skilled, and even has rather decent translations of the abundant german idioms and poetry contained in that song.

As one of the two people who worked on this video, I'd just like to say thanks for understanding that people make mistakes. My friend drippingquill and I made this video years ago to practice our german, and we realize we made a few mistakes. But, it was just a fun afternoon project, and it is frustrating when people expect perfection from us. On another note, our other video, nur ein wort, has a very good translation.

@AlphaWolf777666 but is there anyone that has it right i want to hear the german song with the english subtitles, and I want the lyrics to be right??

just when I thought I got German it gies and does a backflip
Habe is the verb "to have " so if you use du it has to to change to hast which is the same as habe

@TheCallofdutywizard
However, the word in German for 'hate' is Haßt or hasst, which is pronounced the same.

@drippingquill So then how do germans tell them apart
TheCallofdutywizard 1 year ago
@TheCallofdutywizard
Context, the same way we tell apart english words that sound the same.

@drippingquill But you could say i have math or you could say i hate math and it would sound the same
TheCallofdutywizard 1 year ago
@TheCallofdutywizard
In that example, 'have' would be conjugated 'habe' and not sound the same.
But in any case, you realize that there are words in the English language that sound identical, and we get along just fine, right?
