Crossroads, Another Story, Ep.7 Noroko & Reimu vs Hauzer X2

The fight was going nowhere. Neither Noroko or the excorsist were winning.

???: Interesting. Most restless spirits I've delt with are berserk. But you seem level-headed. Why is that?

Noroko: ..... Restless spirit? What do you mean....?

???: It's not a surprise to me that you don't know. Alot of them don't. All I know is you were a living person once.

Noroko mind wen't back to the whole 'who she was' deal. Then Noroko got curious.

Noroko: ..... Can you help me then....?

???: With what?

Noroko: ..... I've been wondering who I am for some time. Would you happen to know....?

???: I can't help you with that. But you might find out if you want me to give you eternal peace. But before I do... Any last requests?

Noroko thought about this for a moment. She remembered the talking armor and the strange incident where she lost control.

Noroko: ..... Some strange group apparantly wants to use me for something... I want to make sure that they can't.....

???: Strange group?

The excorsist thought for a moment. She sighed again.

???: It better not be that cult.

Noroko: ..... Cult....?

???: They're the ones that helped summon the worm-like demons. Whatever they're goal is it's not good for everyone else. I've been fighting the cult and their demons all day today.

Noroko: ..... If this cult is the same group thats been trying to capture me, then we have a simmilar goal.....

???: *sigh* I guess you're right. So, I guess we have to join forces then?

Noroko: ..... If we have a common goal, why should we remain split....?

???: Good point. Heh, I guess I'm a little uncomftertble teaming up with a spirit.

Reimu: My name is Reimu. Heh, I guess I'm a little uncomftertble teaming up with a restless spirit.

They both heard a growl. It was another one of the worms. It was about 10-feet away from them, and getting closer. They both took they're stances, only to be a bit more shocked. Two giant reptillian-like monsters jumped out and tore the worm to shreds, leaving a gory mess. The attack was so quick that Noroko and Reimu didn't have time to sneak away. Afterwards, the two monsters noticed them and charged.

Reimu: They may be big, but they shouldn't pose much of a threat.

Noroko felt that, somehow, Reimu was right.

This fight was only made to progress the story. Man, both Reimu's capability and A.I. are kinda cheap. At a few points, I stood back and watched out of amasement of just how mean she was. I would've chosen a better opponent(s) for Ep.7, but not many things followed the story very well. Like the hauzers were any better. :/
