The bad singing and the cheap keyboard music aren't suitable for this great hymn.

Großartiges Werk. Eins meiner Lieblingslieder von Luther. Die Sängerin hat eine hervorragende Stimme.

The sound of the "piano" can be called awful at best, especially when turning into the modes you referred to. It's not that I were exactly a friend of Lutherian and / or Bach music, but I've been doing my exams on these, and the synthie sound is simply displaced (and badly programmed as well). Check my video on the moon landing if you want to know what synthesizer sound can be like. I did it all by myself.

LetsBeTolerant Yes. I wrote above what I think about it. Love this bold version. The modal-tonal harmony and the typica german accent is a must...

Wunderbar! the modal-tonal harmonies are tipical of XV cent. Praetorius and Monteverdi were masters of this dicotomy.... THis version is bold since we have the Bach's powervul arrange And I think he learnt a lot with those harmonies of lutheran hymns. --- Bad singing? well, no question at all.... go to Placido Domingo or Aretha Franklin or Françoise Hardy. LOVE THIS VOICE and the sound of piano. By the way, have you ever heard about Monteverdi or Praetorius or Scheit?
