Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link. Factory Zero playthrough.

Perfect ghosting. No takedowns (except the boss). 9/10 achievements earned (except That Old Adage, which requires CASIE aug). No augs upgraded and no weapons fired, as required for the Factory Zero achievement. No healing or energy items used (only quest items were picked up). "Give me Deus Ex" difficulty.

  • Fair play. It took me 4 hours to do what you've done in less than an hour and half and I missed a trophy until I found this playthough. Which is brilliant btw.

  • @FuryMuso Well, my first rehearsal run-through for FZ took me 5 hours and recording the video took another 3. So actually you're twice as fast as me :)

  • haha, truly. But what I meant is that, im my playthrough, as soon as you enter that room for the first time, you get SUSPICIOUS status. It doesn't happen for you, although it really doesn't matter, since its a practically meaningless status. For me, on the way up for the first time, and down again, it was all under that status.

    I JUST finished my playthrough, and I found your tricks for Burke's office and All of the Above to be invaluable, and very well planned. Great Guide!

  • @davis4ever3 I've seen a few bugs like yours: like when a guard spawns behind a wall and can hear you everywhere, thus making radar stuck on "alarmed". In this video at 18:10 "alarmed" appears for no reason when I first enter the room. It quickly returns to normal though.

    I think only cameras and turrets can be "suspicious", humans and bots are always either alarmed or hostile. And there are no cameras or turrets in Detention camp -- so it seems you've encountered something weird.

  • The box trick does work on XBOX as of Feb 2012. I just did it. The trick is to open the little gate 4 or 5 times to get the maximum gap between the big heavy box and the wall. From then it's a matter of positioning the small box and try to push the box inside the man hole BUT without actually holding the box (IE: DO NOT PUSH 'X'). Simply put the small box on the ground and try to push it in with the smaller side facing the man hole.

  • Is it okay to pick up the gun and reload it as long as you don't fire it?

  • To quote Burke, "Most men can't see beyond the choices that are in front of them." But you, sir, very much can. Thanks for all of these strategies, especially that vent after you first get off the boat. These helped me get the Factory Zero trophy last night.

  • How do you get to factory zero

  • You can pick up praxis kits, weapons etc but you can't use them or kill with them. Also you can punch the guards any time, that doesnt effect the achievement!
