continued...bowing and praying to idols, lots of "works", and most of all traditions...
Orthodoxy is mostly traditions, not the true word of God, is the spoken tradition that bears weight in that church...
Where Christ said that the traditiond of men makes the word of God of no effect..
I'm no saying to believe me, but talk to God, pray for wisdom, and that He'll show you the truth..
Just because is old, it doesn't mean is the TRUE...
When you start getting into traditions, that =truble..

hello, skichristopher...My name is Ariel..I am in USA, and I was born and raised greek orthodox...I am happy for you that you are baptized, and turned to the Lord, but I know the eastern orthodox church...it is not the true church..
You said that you were looking for the church that was not infiltrated by the devil..There is no such thing, my friend...
The true bride of Christ is on the inside, the born again spirit that is the gift of God...

I am an American on the island of Cyprus and was searching for the true church which Christ said could not be infiltrated by the devil and I am happy to say I have now been Baptized orthodox (true grace) and work within the sanctuary and we are creating an english speaking church, with the grace of god.
