You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar

Thanks from Michigan. Some years ago I found a Gerber knife that fit my bushcraft needs.
It fits your definition exactly. I still prefer the leather sheath. But as you said one needs to use care and the knife needs to go in clean if you want it to come out uncontaminated. stonenstrop

What was the first knife you showed ?
The one with the antler handle ?

I love it: "I knew I was going to do that." Too true.

Your welcome Guys!!!

A Wright and Sons Bushcraft knife. This is a quality, well priced woodlore clone - the rosewood handled model is IMHO the best, but the sheath it comes with, while ok, doesnt do the knife justice.

Carve with your hands up so there is no risk of cutting the femoral arteries... or testicles!

Hi, thanks. Yep the search has been a long and expensive one. The Kellan Puuko is a good knife and if i'm in the arctic or subarctic say when we run our Winter WEISS training then I still prefer a Puuko/Leuko combination - I had to cut that section from the video to make it fit here though................
