First time out with my HK450 helicopter. Way too windy out for a beginner to be flying. It flew pretty well, but I did identify some problems with my build. Even crashed it 2 or 3 times and the only real damage was bent feathering shaft, dented tail boom, bent flybar, and broken landing skid. Total cost for repairs was about $4.00. Not too bad for a budget built heli. Only real problems are the old Rate Mode Gyro and I'm using a 3800kv motor with a 10 tooth pinion gear causing the head speed to be a little low. I'll be installing a Head Lock gyro and an 11 or 12 tooth pinion which should make all the difference in the world.

  • she is good at video taping nice heli flying

  • only person i have seen on utube who thinks their helicopters slow twitching to death is "cool"

love the optomism dude, gotta stay that way with these things :D

  • LOL...love the ribbing from your daughter but yeah, my dad has the same clone except its the HK450GT with carbon fiber upgrades and metal, for the price its the most bang for your buck especially if your new to this like I am...I recently upgraded the canopy to a fusuno canopy and some align 325D blades and it flies as smooth as a real T-Rex 450 SE V2, maybe even smoother!

  • she'l be a professional photographer yet!

  • well done on your flight. yep it looked windy. & you went for it.. nice one.

a tip. try to keep it closer , as its small its easier when its not to far away.

    nice one
