when I first listened to this in 1986 or so, I had a vivid dream/hallucination of a cloudy day, the clouds parted, and a mother fucking hand came between, down from heaven, and grabbed me..... I still recall the dream today, thank you for posting. Enjoy all.

2600 views! HAH! The one who in sublime voluptuousness of music doesn`t feel the sadness of a lonely, deserted God he doesn`t even suspect the essence of music.

so simple...so pure...angel's music
There's something haunting and unsettling about this album cover. The piece of sculpture is so primitive and classic. You wonder why they emphasized the features like they did. Why it has such a hollow, unhappy expression. This particular track is powerfully evocative when combined with just staring at this image. Dead Can Dance at it's best - culturally aware, powerful, bizarre. Music like most people have never heard before, and perhaps never again.
