yea I had a girlfriend who did that with me too, I'd say it's jealousy, if a person has to go out of their way to expose you that's a hater, I would wear a half weave to, at the time I would wear a half just because I liked to, although I have a lot of hair aside from the extensions, she would also point out that I had makeup on when I would get skin compliments, etc, she's not a real friend, she wants something you have, possibly your beauty!

1st of all your "friend" wasn't asked. YOU were. 2nd I wonder if your "friend" wears make-up cuz that's fake too! So hypocritical & jealous. Ppl fake anything nowadays so who cares? Ditch the haters & rock that hair!

I'm the same way. I have bra strap length 2b 2c 3a soft curly hair.... I am able to have my hair this healthy and ling because when I feel like a change I buy a wig instead of constantly dyeing and using heat :) ... I love wigs and extensions

I'm biracial and very ambiguous looking. I got beat on by whites and blacks. That chick was jealous and wasn't your friend. There's alot of good peeps out there though who will love you and not hate. The wig color you're rocking, is you baby! Time to pull out my credit card and get it.

there are those that wear hats, scarfs, perms, braids, etc.on their heads that are questionable..lol!..please keep sharing this very truthful/ insightful/ helpful..information for all talkin heads...lol! you're not alone in your experiences with wigs, it's not only fun, but i love the variety and low maintence  as well...thanks!!.

Get rid of her. ASAP.... because that sounds like another one of my friends who has low self .. and she always comments on how i am always getting this and that because of my body and hair. my face etc... shes always sorta bringing me down.. its rude as effff....

Wow! That's to our friends comments, I would say that she def isn't a friend to put you out there like that. I haven't had a friend do me like that, but I have had ignorant co- workers try me. All my life I have worn weave on and off and I have always gotten people to say things about me. Its so stupid if you didnt buy it then why care. That's my question to the haters.

I am so glad you are no longer friends with this hater because she was NEVER your friend. Secondly, people where weave, wigs, etc. for different reasons and I don't think it should be any ones business as to why that is. I may not want to tell you the reason it could be due to an illness or accident or how about just my perference. Lastly, with the men I just ask them, if they could add 4 inches wouldn't you. They immediately shut up and I smile. Keep doing you girl.

Your pretty and perfect hair sends you over the top. Your friend is insecure so when you are complimented she wants to see you humiliated. Because your a good person, you'll excuse her behaviour or even make excuses for her. It took me a long time to realize that my own friend who did this to me, really was just jealous. Of what, I couldn't tell you, but she acted this way too. Limit your time with this person and you'll start to see her lash out against you in other ways a lot more clearly.
