Here We Go Again Chapter 14 Part 3

“Carli Hart? Oh my gosh it is you!”
“Hi Massi” I said, massi was about 5’7 with about shoulder length… red hair at the moment. She had an amazing body, but an unfortunate horse face. Literally. Not to mention the overbite that even four years of braces couldn’t cure.
“what are you doing back here in Nashville? I thought you were too good for our little town anymore?” Nick looked up at the girl in shock.
“I’ll never be too good for Nashville, I just moved back to Texas, and I’m visiting my Aunt Faith and Uncle Tim before tour starts.” I said rolling my eyes.
“oh that’s right… your like famous now or something right?” I smiled sarcastically.
“something like that yeah.” Massi rolled her eyes at the sarcastic tone in my voice and looked over at nick. I could tell that she wanted me to introduce them, massi loved famous people, I just laughed quietly to myself and pretended to check my phone. Nick looked from me back to Massi before holding out his hand.
“Hi I’m Nick Jonas, I’m a friend of Carli’s.” Massi smiled in what she thought was a sweet way, but really came across as saying ‘I’m really a witch with a B who could care less about you’.
“aww Still no boyfriend for you Carli? Man Miley must have really messed you up.” I laughed shocked that she actually had the nerve to bring Miley up. I could feel Nick’s eyes on my and tried to avoid his gaze until after Massi had left.
“nope no boyfriend for me mass.” I said using the nickname I knew she hated. She narrowed her eyes at me.
“Well I suppose that’s better, no boyfriend means no cheating right?” I laughed.
“yeah speaking of cheating, hows Jason doin these days? Still screwing every girl he meets?” Massi looked like she was about to hit me as our waitress approached us, followed closely by Mike.
“I’m sorry Mr. Jonas Miss. Hart is she bothering you?” Nick smiled at Melanie as she set the drinks down on the table. And mike answered.
“No its alright, She was just leaving weren’t you ma’am?” I smiled and looked up at Massi.
“oh yeah mass, this is Mike our security guard. A perk of being famous or something? Having people who look out for us and keep the trash like you out of our lives.” Massi looked at me astonished and nick let out a laugh that he quickly covered up as a cough as Mike escorted Massi out of the restaurant.

“I am so sorry about that.” Melanie said looking nervous that nick and I were upset.
“no really its ok. Really, I knew her from when I lived here. She loves the attention.”
“if she left without paying I’d be happy to cover her bill.” Nick said smiling again up at her. Melanie shook her head.
“oh no she wasn’t eating, she actually works here.” I chocked back a laugh, I could only imagine what Massi was going to get from her boss the next time she comes into work.
“well then please tell her boss not to be too hard on her, she wasn’t on the clock, and she would have done that to me anywhere, she just happened to see me here.” Melanie nodded and went off probably to report to her boss. I took a sip of my tea
“Mmm this is good. Have you tried it yet?” Nick looked at me
“really Lisey? Your not even going to explain that?” I sighed, wondering how much I should really tell him.
“I went to school with her when I lived here, she was my best friend/ worst enemy, she loves attention if that wasn’t clear… she thinks she’s all that when in reality she’s a loser that will never make it out of Franklin.” Nick looked at me, like he was studying me.
“what was that whole Miley comment about?” I shrugged.
“you know shes my cousin? Well a couple years ago we got into a big fight, massi always tried to make it bigger than it needed to be because she loves drama and because she figured someone would pay attention to her because of Miley being famous.” It wasn’t the whole story but it wasn’t a lie. I think Nick could tell because he just nodded.
“Oh I see…” Nick looked down at his tea and messed with his straw a little, I frowned.
“What’s wrong?” nick looked up at me startled
“What? Oh yeah I’m fine, Just a little hungry that’s all… Oh look the food’s here.” He said as Melanie walked up to us with our orders, I looked at nick a little confused, he was obviously upset about either Miley or Massi. I decided to just shrug it off, not willing to let miley or Massi ruin my date with Nick.
“Mmm looks delicious.” Nick looked up at me and smiled. After that we ate our dinner each dipping random things into both the chocolate and the cheese, laughing and sharing random facts about our lives. It was a fun night…

So i rewrote half of this part and then posted from Class Enjoy :)

@StillLovingDisney18 lol i had to rewrite that part too, cause i'm a bad author who can't remember what she's written in previous chapters so when i got inspired when writing a later chapter i completely blocked out what i originally had at the end of this one.. but i liked the other version better so i obviously rewrote this one...

and i'm not sure that made any sense i'm sorry its early and i'm tired lol
