They did a 90minute set, then were called back for a 15 minute encore.
I have often seen/heard singers who ask the audience to sing, and they (the singers) shut up for a CHORUS or 2 (usually NOT the 1st time around... make SURE we know the words.)
Several times, Indigo Girls let us carry the singing for the VERSES - and we didn't let them down...
And - although they didn't shut up for their 1st encore song ("Ghost") - MOST of us sang along with them for the WHOLE song.

The Indigo Girls! Wow!
Ive idolized them since I was young girl.
I love all of their music and I wish some day that I can write music just as powerful as they do! Id give anything to just hang out with them for a day! To me the Indigo Girls stand for everything womyn should be: Strong, Smart and Bold!!! That in itself is beautiful!

Creative interpretation of a song which, on the surface, is about unrequited love. The Hilary/Barbara Bush outfits may be shocking at first, but that's the point, isn't it. The IGs have played dress up before: see their wonderful Galileo video.
