2002 Mariinsky Ballet Bayadere Obraztsova First Kirov Solo ? Water Jug Dance with Vaganova Students

I do not know if this is the first solo ever by Evgenia Obraztsova, as a member of the Kirov/Mariinsky Ballet, but she had been in the company for just over one month at the time that she danced this water jug solo from act 2 of La Bayadere in 2002. Obviously, the two girls dancing with her were Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet students back in 2002.

Why vikotoria didnt dance in graduation? i see she has join mariinsky company.

I have been informed that the Vorontsova class with Batoeva as the 1st girl, Frolova as the 4th girl and Stepanova as the 5th girl, has Viktoria as the 2nd girl behind Batoeva.

I am amazed that Stepanova was only 5th - I would have thought she deserved to be 1st. What is the ranking judged on, anyway? Is it school performance, or is it all their work - class, pas de deux, acting - as well? How exactly are they marked, and by whom? I would love to know!

I was talking about where the girls were standing at the barre in class and not how they were ranked.

According to Viktoria and who better to know the answer, she hurt her back a few weeks before the 2009 graduation performances. She was scheduled to dance the pas de deux from Satanella and an evil word on youtube (dare I mention it), Tchaikovsky pas de deux choreographed by an evil word on youtube, Balanchine.
