Today we will talk about another front of the South Ossetia conflict, the one waged by the media. As a result of this warfare, people living in the West have a very different picture of this war from that of the people living in South Ossetia. Why is this the case? This is a more balanced item than the usual russo-centric bluster. The BBC aired interviews and commentary with Russian officials when possible, so it's up to Russia to be cooperative. Getting a visa to go visit Russia is such a daunting process that I had to conclude, after my first attempt via 'The Real Russia', London, that it would be easier to break out of Bellmarsh High Security Prison, London. A contrast to an EU working hard to have Russians come visit without need of a visa.
