hey hey, harem series? harem series? <____< THE DEATH OF ALL THINGS GOOD COMES FROM HAREM SERIES!
-
@kevinlei92 I find it funny that you mention that. I'm not a fan, but that's probably the Japanese equivalent of saying My Little Pony is destroying American animation.
Good anime is still being made. You don't hear about it as much, but it's still being made. Like I said, Gundam Unicorn, excellent current series.

oh yea true dat. but it did go straight to hell in the late 90s. harem series in the early 2ks. oh god. what happened
-
@kevinlei92 You said Eva was the last good anime (Which is subjective, looking at clips of Eva creep me out to say the least) I'm saying that it wasn't. Cowboy Bebop for example came out in '98, after Eva, it is noted by many to be one of the greatest anime. Then Shinchiro Watanabe did Samurai Champloo. Plus, there's Unicorn. I'm also saying that the 80s was a golden age because of Gundam pretty much taking off and becoming popular. Which had more to do with the other guy's comment.

i'm talking about the bad art work and shitty character developement that started in the late 90s and early 2ks. what the hell were you talking about? and i said EVAngelion. where was gundam in that broskies?
-
@kevinlei92 Not true. But in the 80s Japan got three Gundam series, four movies and one OVA. And there were tons of innovations in other anime that wasn't Gundam.

anime went straight to hell right after Eva finished. STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!!

Musical rights vary from country to country. In the case of Zeta Gundam, it was made by an American musician Neil Sedaka. He owns the rights to the composition, while the japanese own the lyrics. The reason that it is cost prohibitive is because it has a ton of people working on it.
