Motorcycle Hall of Fame Tom Christenson twin engined Norton top fuel drag bike named the Hogslayer. With 300 plus HP this bike ruled the drag strip in the early 70's running mid-7's at 180 mph. This was the bike to beat until the supercharged single engined Japanese drag bikes started showing up at the drag strips in the mid 70's.
Nice to see this. I remember the Seventies. I remember how awesome Hogslayer was back then. Did a lot of good for moral here in the UK as Norton was facing the Japanese onslaught...

He still is a local hero in the Kenosha area. IF you are lucky and go to TWO WHEEL TUESDAY at a local coffee shop, you can meet him and share a cup of coffee. Neat man.

Was back up in WI with my wife and we went to Sunset Motors to but T-shirts for friends. My first bike came from there, a Moto Guzzi V7 Sport. TC was actually there and it seemed like he recognized me after 20-30 years. My wife got to meet him. It was fun. They did not take credit cards so we had to go find an ATM while TC was rummaging through his office to find a XL T-shirt in black.

Met T.C several times at vintage bike events/swaps.A man's man:Truly a member of a very elite club.Unfortunately for younger riders. the era of heroes like T.C Christanson.; Dick Mann, kenny roberts Mert lawill Malcolm smith , Gene Romero, Cal Rayborn is over and these giants will never be equaled. By the fly by wire EFI mapping newcomers.
