hi there love your work on here and find it very helpfull

can you please help me with a problem i have,ive miked up a drum kit,using 8 seperate mikes,and onto 8 nuendo 4 channels.we played to a click and guide track,but the drums run out of time in a couple of places,my question is,can they be quantised back into time,and how can it be done,im desperate to learn how to do this,tank you again for all your help paul jackson uk

@vox1uk - I know this might not be what you want to hear, but the best way to get rid of that is to record it again. Having a drummer that can play in time is critical to good mixes. If recording again is not possible, you may try copying and pasting an entire section of the drums rather than just trying to slip edit individual events. Otherwise, as a last resort, watch and learn on this video:

1 . you can only use a compressor with a sidechain input. you can check this by devices > plugin information, look at your plugins under the "sidechain input" column

2. put your mouse over the track color area and click to see color choices

3. devices > time display

Well, Nuendo 3 doesn't have key in. See my video about sidechaining in N3.

yeah..Its like the bass sinks into the kick....I like to say it like that. Once they're both mixed well....Its an amazing sound. I love it. haha. cool video. I also like to make and mix my own stuff.

can i use another compressor instead of the nuendo's default to do this?

can you tell me how you did to put color on each track?

aswell, how do you get the the clock below the mixer faders ?
