@DivinelyMochaDipped I apologize if the latter part of the post was unlcear. Basically, if you're born without health insurance, without access to quality public schools, without prospects of affordable tuition at a good college, etc. then you have not been treated fairly by society -- I don't need to know anything about your ancestry to be 100% sure of that fact. Justice comes through fixing the problems we have NOW, not crying over people who've been dead for centuries.
u do realize that the inequality in the school system is actually a result of institutional racism and the legacy of more aggressive racism as well? yes, there are poor whites but the disparities across color lines is because of a sinful legacy. your rant seems as though u feel guilty. no1 blamed you and the conversation wont stop just because it makes (some of) yall uncomfortable. the woman who filmed this is actually the descendent of the largest slave traders in U.S. history.
We study history so we may learn from the past to build a better World. We do NOT study history to blame (or even credit) living people for deeds done by those long dead. That's not just misguided, it's unethical -- and downright wrong. At best, such discussions distract from the real issue -- that the underprivileged of all "races" are everywhere denied opportunity. At worst, they blame the innocent for the crimes of others. Our public schools are rotting to the core! And we discuss this!

Should the Jews also quit whining about the Holocaust? have the jews milked the whole Holocaust thing?

Yawn. I think that African-Americans and a few neurotic whites have milked this slavery-thing for all that it's worth.
Quit whining and get over it already.
By the way, if any whites are stupid enough to hand over their money to someone else, feel free. However, I'll keep my money. :)
