Video of the Sega Amusements booth at ASI 2009 in Las Vegas, NV.

Here Sega demonstrated several new games for the coin-op market, including Harley Davidson (which is different than the HD game that they released back in '98 or so) which you see at the beginning of the video; R-Tuned which is Sega's new drift racing game developed by the famous AM2 (I have a full video of that I'll be posting later); Brick People where you place blocks in front of a screen and the little people climb on top of them (it also works as a redemption game); When Pigs Can Fly which is a new video redemption title where you launch a pig up into the air to hit targets for tickets; and the kit for Sega Bass Fishing Challenge that changes that game up by giving it a trackball instead of a fishing reel controller.

They also had Rambo and Sega Rally 3 on hand which are still plenty fun. No word yet on when we'll see their new Ringedge hardware over here but I imagine that by the time AMOA rolls around in September we'll know more.

  • sega rally 3 is that sega rally revo by eny chanse

  • That is an enhanced version of SR Revo - it runs at 60fps instead of 30 and there are a couple of track additions/changes. So it's nearly the same game, with some nice enhancements.

  • LONG LIVE ARCADES!

  • Sega Rally 3 here I come.

  • sega really releases very very strage/unique but fun games... :)

  • How does R-tuned compare to other AM2 racers?

  • R tuned is good but I don't think its fair that even if you come 1st you have to pay to continue like what you do with maxi tune series and initial d. not only that but the game looks quite dated too with using a standard TV instead of a HD flat screen like sega rally 3 twin does. I played it in leeds hollywood bowl.

  • No, most of this is running off of Lindbergh which is a couple of years old already - Ringedge games won't start getting to arcades until later this year, with Border Break and Shining Force Cross.

the one exception is Sega Rally 3 which uses Europa which is quite powerful but it looks like it will be the only game to use that hardware for some reason.

  • what? is this stuff ran off of the ringedge? if so, it doesnt look very good for new hardware
