I picked this guitar up last week and I'm just showcasing it in this video. I searched long and hard for a candy red finish. I hate the other lame colors they offer. I really love the maple neck and fretboard. It's extremely fast. The guitar itself is not heavy at all and very comfortable to play. The Seymour Duncan pickups are amazing. Many tones can be achieved with these. My only complaint is the Floyd Rose bridge is a little stiff. I'll get used to it. The music is some stuff from EVH, Satriani, RUSH, AC/DC, etc. Enjoy!

  • does the bolt on joint ever get in the way? how about the lack of a tone knob? Seriously thinking about these beauties

  • @coolmega33 No not really. It's very much like a strat type joint but you'll get used to it. I never use a tone knob so it didn't really matter much to me. I would definitely suggest getting one of these. I believe, as of now they have stopped manufacturing the USA versions and are strictly Japan models. The Japanese models are just as good as the USA ones. However, if you find a USA model, grab it. Don't hesitate. These beauties will be worth money some day. Good luck!

  • Has anyone played a desolation yet? I need to find one first. BT7 nice work!

  • @CRAM1REZ51 Not yet. It looks like a PRS singlecut. American or Japanese?

  • @BT71guitar Yes your right the US models will be worth money but so will the first release of the Japan Pro Mods. I wasn't fortunate enough to get a US made but I did get number 27 of the white San Dimas Pro Mod. There is a difference in the 2 guitars as well. The US model has pick up rings and the Japan Pro Mod series utilize direct mount pickups. The fret job on the Japan models is much better as well. Other then that they are identical! Japan models also come with a hardshell case
