hi my grandad was in ww2 he showed me photos of him in france with a group of sikh soilders he told me when ever they went to fight they would do so while praying this made them stronger, thanks to all the sikhs for your help we needed it.

@suravajra my friend u shud read history, m agry tht from the South we have heroes who fought there own fights against mughals. but sikhs hvnt fought there fights only they fight for them who cant save thereselvs even they are hindu or muslim, it dsnt matter. every time sikhs fought for humanity. but unfortunatly others now like to make joke on us, u should know that sikhs have maximum contrbution in indian nation then others even they are only 2% in population. nd till we respct all ancestors

I'm of Tamil Hindu background. And let me say, and I don't wanna sound like a conceited jackass, that we weren't slackers ourselves. We have our own proud history. With triumph and tragedy with art, literature, architecture etc. And just as you have your own affection to Punjab, the Land of Five Rivers, I have my own affection to my own ancestral homeland, Tamil Nadu or Tamil Country.

I am sorry you feel the world discriminates you. Donot be so pessimisitic.

Well my friend, one ought to refrain from making broad sweeping statements. But you are a teenager by your admission. I am a twenty something. By the time your get into your twenties you realize that the world is a more complex place. That emotions if there are too much, can be detrimental to your ability to understand. My suggestion: Really read history. And don't begrudge others the right to be proud of their history.

Wel your gurus were heros. But having ancestors from the South we have our own heroes, who fought their own fights against the Mughals. In the end that oppressive Empire under Aurangzeb came down. Perhaps we should all agree that our ancestors fought their Wars against a common enemy and prevailed??

Why do you insult them? I think your account name itself is inflammatory. People in India ought to be free to choose their faith, or even if they choose to believe at all. It seems to me that if India would of never gained independence if sectarians of the Hindu, Muslim or even Sikh stripes at their way. Indeed it's divide and rule that kept India as a colony for that damn long.

My family are Tamil Hindus. We did perfectly fine for centuries, don't recall you guys "saving" us from the Mughals?? I do however recall our peoples fighting seperate wars against the Mughas at opposite ends of the subcontinent.
