Pierre Bensusan documentary preview part 2

This is part 2 of a short preview from a forthcoming documentary film about the life and music of Pierre Bensusan, ("one of the most acomplished acoustic guitarists on the planet" - allaboutjazz.com).

The film is being produced by Roger Sherman of Florentine Films and Martha Ferguson, Pierre's agent in the USA.

Everything said here is right on. Over coffee, he is right in that you are fortunate to keep coming up with fresh music. But then it must fly - be discernible to others. To composers: we run the risk of intuitively knowing what its about but no one else might!

I thought the guy interviewing him was one of the worlds greatest banjo players, Bill Keith. But he wasn't.

If I met Bensusan, I would be speechless and couldn't say anything to him. How do you talk to guy like that? He is a genius in a world that overuses the word genius, but not for him.
