Oh yes, I've seen a lot of videos that oppose this product. But, from what I've learned..it doesn't work well for those with a certain grade of hair. It works better on the thin, fine already wavy hair..LOL Thanks for your comment

Have you tried using a detangling conditioner and combing after your shampoo once the conditioner has been applied. It will be a lot easier. Your doing right by starting at the ends and working your way back. When you combed your hair was it wet or dry? It should always be wet when detangling. This will cut down on breakage. Best of luck!

Oh yes, I find that in order to really be able to manage it with the conditioner I have to comb it before hand. If I wash it and try to comb it during the conditioning process it's still too tangled. Thanks.

you should try detangling in the shower, or dampen ur hair with a conditioner and water mix when detangling. this makes the process sooo much quicker and easier! HTH

Omggg i HATE to comb my hair as well!!! i have been natural for about a year and half & to this day i dont comb my hair out enough! lol; sad i know. but i enjoyed your review, thankful that i saw it before i order all those exspensive products!! i just feel i can find products for less money that do the same thing! good review!!!!!

I went to ricki's to get some of these products because my aunty used them before and her hair looked GREAT. I wanted to get the 16oz and they told me, "the 8oz and 16oz will be on sale tomorrow for buy one get one free", soooo clearly I didnt take them and I will be returning to ricki's in the morning when they open haha. Try detangling with a denman brush. I hate combing my hair too. But I love the denman brush. And I only detangle when I'm conditioning my hair. Gr8 vid. I'm gonna try miss jessie's products now.

I really enjoyed this video. I think it's awesome that you have people in your life who give you natural tips. Everything I learned about natural hair I learned from youtube..No joke. I love Miss Jessie's stuff I use the Curly Meringue all the time and I mouisterize with the baby buttercreme and it does smell fantastic.
