Talk Talk <3 Though I have no idea... why does the vocals of this sound like Duran Duran? Though I'm probably the only one picking up on the vocal similarities. :c

Yup, '80s rocked - I saw REM perform for free at UCLA in 82/83(?) some were catching on but not many stopped to listen..

@NeoVictorianX Radio was gr8! You had college stations & the alt/punk station next 2 it,usually another college station.There were always 2-3 stations playing gr8 music,it's how I discovered Bikini Kill,Fugazi,Sonic Youth...This went on through the '90's but by '00's,this all disappeared.I'm 35,but,my best mate worked at WTUL,Tulane's station,in the early'80's & then the punk/alt/indie/rap... station next 2 it.Late night,every1 tripped2WTUL.The'80's hadPixies,SonicYouth,Jesus&Mar

@NeoVictorianX - What stations were you listening to back then? KROQ was around and played a lot of good stuff that got no air on the regular stations.

@philipcolelive ..... what you wrote it is so true, they were so original !!!
if it wasn't for bands like this and Adam Ant you would not have your Lady Gaga's or any of that other crap they want to call music... The 80's Rock with innovation and vision... Now everything just seems to be coping the past...

People shouldn't be so hard on the music today and so sentimental about the 80s. I was a teenager in the 80s and the 80s were mostly crap, just like now. Madonna, Starship, Brian Adams, whatever. Radio in the 80s was mostly crap, just like now. I mean how much airtime was Talk Talk getting on the radio then? None at the "Rock" or "Top 40 Pop" or "light music" stations in the area where I grew. I mean, you didn't even know who Talk Talk was unless you were a little weird or something....
