The place erupted with screams. There they were. The three Jonas boys. They ran on stage waving. My breath caught in my throat. He was even more completely gorgeous than before... Even more so than the pictures I was forced to see by Melany. He walked over to the middle mic while Nick and Kevin grabbed their guitars.
"Hey everyone!" His voice ran through the place, but soon got sounded out by the loud screams. I couldn't believe it. This was only sound check. "How are you all doing tonight?" Different answers were shouted by almost every fan. It was intense. Joe continued to talk but I couldn't really concentrate on the words. It was actually kind of hard to breathe.
They were well into their second song when Melany turned to me. "You okay, Sis?"
I nodded and forced a smile. She shrugged and turned back to watching the stage. I exhauled and also turned back to the stage.
"We're actually going to play an sort of old song. Then we'll do a few questions and things."
The girls squirmed. Joe looked over at Nick and nodded. He adjusted his fingers on the strings. Nick strummed the cord and began to sing. It wasn't his voice I was used to hearing, but I recognized the song instantly. It was my song.... But they changed it.
"Hello beautiful..."

"I can't...ugh" Joe threw down the pen and laid back.
Haley looked up. "What 'you can't... ugh?'" She popped the book mark into her book and closed it.
Joe rubbed his eyes. "The stupid song. It's being...stupid."
Haley chuckled. "Well! That's stupid."
He looked up and gave her a look. "Baaaaaaaabe. What happened to being wonderful and supportive."
She grinned at him. "I'm reading."
Joe scoffed and sat up. He placed a quick kiss on her lips. "Okay. I'm gonna go talk to Nick bout this."
His girl friend smiled and kissed him again. "Kay. Love you..."
"Love you, too," he said as he walked out of his room.
"Work those lyrics!!" She called after him.
"You know it!" He called back then laughed. Haley smiled to herself then went back to reading her book.
