What if you draped a small parachute over the cone attached to the body....when you shoot it up the parachute would stay closed, but when it returned it would deploy automatically....

Warning!! There are two types of PVC pipe. Solid core and foam core. Use the solid core only, it is made to be pressurized. solid core will have the pressure ratings printed on the sides. Foam core was designed to be cheaper, not be under pressure and will be marked "waste water only".
