@TheRagdollrejects I'd venture that this tech will be developed by an advanced AI civilization with 'robots' and massive structures built from entire asteroids or planetoids - or perhaps within the continental crust of already biologically inhabited planets - perhaps our own. Create a particle accelerator in space and use it as a mass driver for micro and nano tech - very high velocities could be achieved - think speed of lightning - and it would be automated and cheap

@TaylerKnox implication of this may be that we're from another planet built by nanobots at first and that our evoloutionary ancestors were put here too to explain where we came from genetically with the hope that humanity could become rife in the galaxy to leave it populated rather than empty. Thinking on a tangent can come up with some insane theories.
