How to put in an remote start and install an car alarm system.

This is our installation of a remote start and alarm by DEI, Directed Electronics of a 2-way paging Python Alarm and Remote start in a 2011 Acura MDX TECH with REAR VIDEO. The installation is the same for all 2007 and 2011 vehicles.

The 2 way remote has audible and visual confirmations when someone breaks into your car, and also when the car is remote started.

Using the data module, we were able to use the following VIA DATA (no connections)

TRUNK RELEASE (pop rear hatch)
Door triggers
Trunk triggers
Hood trigger for remote start
Lock
and Unlock
OEM alarm and factory arm and disarm
Bypass factory immobilizer
Disarm factory alarm on start
Ground while running GWR to data module, no wire needed
power and ground to data module, from Alarm module. No separate connection.
It also added the capability to arm and disarm the AFTERMARKET alarm from the FACTORY transmitters, via data.

The only wires we had to connect was:
Run the siren wire
Mount shock sensor
Parking Light wire
Brake + wire
and ignition, 12v and accessory wires

Thats it!

We used a custom programmed ADS IDATALINK ADSCA module to the MDX, programmed for D2D DBI to RS232, instead of W2W, so less wires needed to be connected, and we did the installation in less than a hour.

Everything you see in this video, including all the tape, connectors, remote start, wire ties, specialty pry tools, bypass datamodule, EVERYTHING is in stock and for sale in our site.

If you buy from us, we get our REAL LIFE installation experience to help you with your installation, and we PROGRAM THE MODULE for you ALSO.
