What happens when a director recruits his ex-girlfriend for a video gig, and pays her in donuts? A very, umm... unique sort of promo for Hostelling International's three San Francisco hostels.

@GrandgoreFitzmonster: Well, as the guy who wrote it, it's always comforting to know that what you do creates a response in people, good or bad. Glad it gave you so much to think about!

@GrandgoreFitzmonster blah, blah, blah, someone sure can't take a joke.

This video is extraordinarily problematic. I can't imagine that anyone would want to stay at a hostel that is so filled with frequent occurrences of sexism, racism, and generally terrible acting.
Whoever wrote this... rather, whoever OK-ed the financing and release of this reprehensible production should be fed to the wolves.

Cute. That hostel I stayed at in Daytona specialized in drunks, and the one near the Florida-Georgia border was hippie central, but San Francisco's hostels seem to have mostly normal people, I guess. Oh, and Key West had a lot of drunk Australians, but that's to be expected.
