on the crysis benchmark it says 35-45fps but it looks very laggey
-
@doomtomb3 how did u get crysis run on vista 64bit dx10. mine displays black screen and freezes albeit i have the same setup as ur,s........
what am i supposed to do.

everything higher than 3.5 ghz increases min. fps but not average or max. So your cpy is fast enough for the grafics card!

Cool, thanks for the info, really helps.

WhoTubeProductions, the bottlenecks are the video cards. It's been that way for years now. The 920 is easily overclockable to about 4GHz on stock voltages which provides way more than enough CPU power to allow the video cards their full potential. Typically 3GHz is the "critical mass" for gaming. Going above that doesn't increase performance all that much.

Just ordered parts to build an i7-920 system w/ 6GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, and 2 275 GTXs. Also getting the 2233rz Samsung true 120Hz monitor with the NVidia 3D Vision glasses. (Never tried the NVidia 3D Vision, but it comes with the monitor so why not -- 120Hz LCD -- who can pass that up? 120 FPS with Vsync? Yes please.) $2,600 for everything built from the ground up. I'm planning on OCing the i7 to about 3.6/3.8GHz on stock voltage.

he! i also got a q9550@3.6Ghz and i am considering about buying a second gtx275!!!!

@doomtomb3 oh good good
how come your memory speed on your gtx 275 is only 1500??

It wasn't 1500, it says 1224MHz but you multiply by 2 because it's GDDR3 (double data rate)
