i live in queensland, gold coast. i live by the water and only a couple of weeks ago i saw the strangest thing, i was driving out of my street and a big egret, about 3ft tall, was walking around our neighbours front yard. just chillin there...

Wow great footage. I went and filmed Aussie parrots for 6 months and will release my film soon. Its called Discovering the world of Parrots Australia. I have a clip on youtube as well.

Those wild budgies and zebra finches are so cute. They had quite a bit about wild budgies on a Nature documentary about Australian parrots, but I've never seen footage of those adorable little zebra finches in the wild. I'd love to see a wild budgie in person.
