my brother has a 95 gt racecar. bought it just like you did but the motor starrted cuttin out at like 4k rpm. so we took it to a garage had the whole motor taken apart, cleaned, and modified, and put it back in. now it goes to 8k+. he won 10 features 22 heats and 1 championship. no doubt they're good racecars.
