yup learned it in my french class this year, I find the french revolution interesting, and in the movie the scarlet pimpernel his followers were real, the people talked about were real, the only one not real with the scarlet pimpernel, but yea french is confusing,

The French Revolution was really intriguing, at certain times while reading it about it I felt so bad for so many people. Truly one of the saddest but interesting of historical events in Europe. I've been taking German, so it's a little different ^_^;;. Still, in German quite a few French words make it into their vocabulary I've noticed, I think it was partially due to the Franco-Prussian War, but it's really neat to have words from French in German context ^_^!

nice, did you know the guillotine was named by a guy with the last name guillotin, the reason it's mademoiselle is since the ending "E" which in french makes a word feminine. How original that Guillotin decides to name it Guillotine,

Now that's interesting! I was unsure of how the term for Guillotine came about, a really neat fact. That, and I never knew that ending with an 'e' makes something feminine in French. That's really neat, learn something new everyday :)!
