internal lock system was the deciding factor in my 686 vs gp100 decision i had to make! I cannot be the only one that passed on a new smith and bought a ruger because of it! Still no replacing a S&W 629 even with the stupid lock!

@Agent0061958 I know what you mean, hindsight is 20/20! Believe it or not I've had that happen to me on my 686 with factory ammo with the mainspring not adjusted. Luckily it wasn't a cooker but just a dud. I guess you never know. Have fun and be safe brother!
Opening the cylinder after a misfire is a great way to get your hand blown off. A good rule to follow is, wait 10 seconds with the gun pointed down range then you can safely inspect it knowing that the round isn't a "cooker." Nice gun though!

@guitartricky Well, that is true and I thought about that after I posted the video. I guess I knew instinctively that it was a light primer strike since I had adjusted the mainspring. I never have encountered a "cooker" with modern factory ammunitiion.
