@VisionScrapBook thank you very much for your answer. I was interested in a V-amp3, so that question was really necessary to make a choice. I was talking with other people, and they told me the same. When you switch the patches with different amp simulation, you got latency, but if you change patches with just different distortions, there's no latency.

@sopotito There is only the slightest latency when you switch between amp models,( ie... hi gain, to clean ). in a live band situation, you won't even notice it? But...when you setup a patch with distortion and one without and use the same amp model...there is absolutely no latency. Your just switching the distortion on and off....Good question, I hope this helps. Rock on dude.
