Education and Entertainment
The Youth Leadership Challenge (YLC) is an entertaining and educational competition that invites young Cambodians between the ages of 18 -- 27 to compete to demonstrate their abilities as a leader and community servant. Contestants earn prizes and compete in a televised reality program to win a study trip to the United States of America and they gain national notoriety based on the merit of their performance in the competitions.
YLC educates viewers with practical information and examples of how they can make a difference in their communities and better prepare themselves for the future.
YLC is jointly produced by the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the Youth Council of Cambodia (YCC) with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The YLC program is broadcast on the Cambodian Television Network (CTN) and CTN's youth oriented sister station, MyTV.
