  • Have u ever had any problems with the cops or game wardens or people reporting you for trespass or suspicious behavior?

  • @mythic89 Met up with law enforcement all the time. I just introduce myself and give them a geocaching pamphlet to help explain what I am doing. Had some state park rangers question me pretty good once but they were looking for drug dealers at the time. The only time it gets hairy is when the geocache is placed without permission and the land owner doesn't know it's there. Then that can become a bit more sticky.

    Thanks for watching...

  • We just started geocaching as a family about 4 weeks ago and we love it! Your videos have been extremely helpful, and I've recommended them to several friends who've asked what on earth is geocaching.

We've really had trouble finding nanos (0 for 4 so far). Any chance you could give a tutorial on finding them?

I'd also love to see a tutorial on where to get supplies for repairing caches. Several of our local caches are not well-maintained, and I'd like to have repair items with me.

  • @cynsayshi Thanks so much for the nice words. I have added your two suggestions to my ever growing list of GeoSnippits ideas.

Nanos are the bane of most geocachers. I guess it doesn't help that I am making videos how to make it even harder to find them ;p Keep in mind that many nano hides are magnetic. IOW they are attached to something and can be placed in so many spots. My words of encouragement is keep on looking. Eventually you will develop a geocaching sense of where they possibly can be

  • I love Geochaching. I could care less if there is anything in the cache as long as I find the cache.

  • @ssrc30 For many the swag is just a peripheral part of geocaching. Others like trading or looking for specific collectibles. The kids look for what kids look for...
