Although I love Sinead's remakes such as Sacrifice, clearly the Cocteau Twins did a better job.  If she was minimalistic as she did on Sacrifice, she would have come up with another winner.

although I do like the Twins version better, because Liz takes you there, like she always does, Sinead sings it in a way that makes you feel something different. Something less sad, but still moving. I like it.

@WhitesAwaken yet his fame is nowhere near that of Nick Drake, and the only album the "fans" care about is starsailor.

Lorca (his true masterpiece, and one of the greatest albums in rock history) have not been given the acclaim it so painfully deserves.

This to me is one of the great versions of this Tim Buckley song, Sinead is produced more than most of her stuff but this is a magic sound. Powerful

Buckley is by far the best. He's basically the most underrated musician of all time, and lorca is probably one of the 10 best albums ever made.

He also destroys his son, by the way.
