Thank you so much Hammerhorrorposters for your response. I hope soon to visit England and will certainly make the "pilgrimage".

I stayed here in 2003 and drank Murphy's all night in the bar downstairs. I wanted to stay here because Larraz's Vampyres along with all the great Hammer films were filmed there. The breakfast was good too but we drank an enormous amount of Stella Artois and Murphy's. I passed out in the library as well. I tried to conjur the spirit of Cushing but to no avail, he is in a deep sleep until later. The girls at the front desk were really cute too.

I guess you know that the only remaining studio from the Hammer days is the one near the entrance to the main house.
I filmed at Bray for three years and we used that studio a lot-it was a nightmare(no pun intended). It was red hot and stuffy-still it was great to have poked around the same place as Mr Lee & Mr Cushing etc.

Yeah Great video. It was a top day. Met loads of people. Just really weird feeling to be at Bray Studios
I grew up on Hammer Films (living in north/central New York state) and worshipped these people. Can you go visit Bray anytime or only on special occasions? Is it near London?

@MyChuckp It's not really open to the public but you can walk done the lane to the entrance and see a lot of the stages. You can visit Oakley Court next door, it's a hotel now (this is where I stayed) and was used in a lot of Hammer films, the hotels front door can been seen in "The Brides of Dracula". The studios and Oakley Court are just outside Windsor, Berkshire, a few miles west of London.
