Didn't know this guy, just saw newcastle arsenal match and i am very sure that this Dowd guy is the worst referee ever!! So great song :-)

@Ribeyeangus How stupid do you feel right now? Phil Dowd has proven once again today that he is either incompetent at refereeing or biased. That has got to be one of the worst decisions I have ever seen.

I personally know Phil Dowd, and he is not a terrible ref. every ref makes a mistake or two, however fi they wasn't any good he would not be in a referee in the EPL. Also he is a very funny man with a great sense of humor.

Phil Dowd is an excellent ref. He doesn't buy into diving and he doesn't listen to player's bullshit. Sure i hate him too from time to time when the calls are against my club but thats just the way the game is. phil is fair and when he's referee you know that if someone gets a red they have probably committed murder.
