Alyssa Dies In Sweltering Death Trap

GREEN OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Or at least that's what Devin Scillian from Click On Detroit calls it. It was actually a car seat. 18-month old Alyssa died after being left in the family truck for 2-hours while it sat in the driveway of the family's home.


Temperatures that day reached 88 degrees. The father was the last one to drive the truck. When the parents realized that the toddler had been left in the vehicle, they found Alyssa bundled up in a car seat behind the drivers side of the truck. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the little girl was overheated and unconscious. B0th parents, who also have a 3-year-old, are in their late 20's and their names are being withheld. They are co-operating with investigators.

How do you forget that your child, That you carried for 9 months, is left in a car? Or any kind of vehicle? It makes me sick.

UhUh thats 2 parents were they high? You dont forget another kid when you looking at one also. So when they see the 3 year old they dont think and say weres our other child hello! They kept her in there for punishment. Id say thats something thats i wont accept as an accident as a parent. You keep eyes on a child 24/7 even when they are sleeping and it gets quiet you run and check if you any type of parent. No matter how i look at the situation. Forgetting a pill is not the same honey!

How do you forget your birth control, your car keys, your wallet, etc. TIFFYP87 has never made any mistakes in her life (princess of denial). The media ALWAYS tries to ostracize anyone they put on their shows. How could a mother or father kill their children? I remember another story where the Dad was supposed to take the child to daycare (not norm for him). He forgot and went to work like always. He had to be put on suicide watch because I can understand how horrible his mistake was.
