I have a Costa Ludus Low-Light training class in a few days from now, so I'm practicing my transitions from primary to secondary weapon here at night in the dark using weapon-mounted white lights on both guns. Everything gets more complicated at night, even stuff you're good at during the daytime hours or in lighted areas. So it's vital to train at night or in low/no-light whenever possible. I'm very fortunate in that the owner of the range I go to allows me to shoot at night.

  • Well first I'd like to say, holy shit that was fast!and second, what location do you shoot at

  • @mikethemaniac1 This is the Impact Zone out near Hempstead, TX. It's a privately owned range with membership requirements.

  • What range do you normaly shoot at?

  • @mikethemaniac1 Before I answer, what do you you mean by "range."

How far? Or what gun range I shoot at? :)

  • suppressors are music to my ears! Say Hi to Mr. Costa for me!

  • @TheHossUSMC Roger. Good video you did with him at SHOT, brother!

  • way to go with the training!

  • whoa i didnt know costa was doing classes now? have fun at the class.

  • impressive transition shooting, good luck and have fun in the class.

  • @RetreatHell Do you prefer Glock or MP platform?

  • BTW I completely agree with low light making things way difficult. I was on day shift for the last 2 years and went back to nights. Simple things like writing a ticket in the dark became "difficult". lol

  • @RetreatHell I know exactly what your talking about. Its a lot easier to use it on a rifle. I went to a WX150 (TLR works same way) Its easier to hold down the momentary than pushing it in like on the x300.
