No sé, pregúntenle a Chris Duarte•"

  • i went to this concert!! im the blond kid in the front with the hat!!

  • @drellim10 Chris is a MONSTER musician, and is also a very nice, humble guy, as well. I've seen him close to 20 times live. To tell the truth, it really doesn't matter too much what guitar, amp, or other equipment he uses. He always plays phenomenally, and sounds amazing. He could play a Fender Squier Strat through a Pignose amp, and he'd still rip your head off!! A truly amazing improvisationalist; one of the absolute best. See him live every chance you get!

  • @jamitt Just saw him Friday night 9/3 and talked to him about it. Said he got the Bluesbox during the recording of Vantage Point and pulls it out once in a while to use. Said his Vibroking is at home. Had his red '72 Marshall also at the gig. Maker of Bluesbox sold it to him for $450 and yes it is the Buddy Guy version. He was just incredible to see live. First time for me. So humble and approachable. He had his 63 strat with him. Said there was enough wood on neck afterall to refret.

  • @drellim10 Up until very recently, Chris had been playing out of a Chicago Blues Box amp (the Buddy Guy combo model, I think) exclusively. In this vid, it looks like he's adopted an "Eric Johnson, one Marshall, one Fender' type of amp situation. When I saw him live last March, he was playing the Chicago Blues Box. I'm going to see him live this week. It'll be interesting to see what he'll be playing out of.

  • What type of Fender amp is he using here? It's not his usual VibroKing. Noticied that since his haircut, he's also been using Chicago Blues Box.
