Jim Cornelison sang the National Anthem at one of my high schools basketball games. one of the best days of my life. So proud to be a Chicagoan and much more proud to be an American. God Bless the USA

One thing you gotta be envious about Chicago is that they have Cornelison. I am. Get this guy to the Super Bowl. He would be appreciated there. Fans around the league like me know who he is and pop stars be damned.

I am a cards fan, but that doesn't matter I looked for this video hoping I would find it and sure enough I did! I remember scrolling through the channels and watching all the 1st games national anthems and wow, did Jim Cornelison was the first person ever that truly touched/went deep with his Song. I wish Jim did the SB one as well, guy was meant to sing this freaking song!

@dbn52 I agree. The National Anthem isn't a song about mourning for your country, it's a song to take pride in your country. Show your pride by cheering. I feel that the people who don't cheer and show no emotion during the national anthem are the one's disrespecting their country.
