@XmercyX831 No, the weight printed on the pole is not the actual weight of the pole, its the weight that the pole can safely support when vaulting.

@IAREMEBCV 10'6 a world record? No. Definitely not. I know sophomore girls in high school that can vault higher. I've only been vaulting a couple months and I'm already at 8'6 and still improving rapidly.

no, it has a number at the top that has a max weight, u shudnt be over it, if your really good and strong you can usualy use a pole meant for someone much heavier, that way it flings you higher in the air

so when he says the pole should match the persons body weight, does that mean the pole has to weigh the same as the vaulter?
