Storyline: Everything was perfect for Ianto and Jack before Gwen came into the picture. Gwen comes right between Jack and Ianto and Jack feels an attraction towards Gwen. Jack and Gwen start meeting in secret and Jack cheats on Ianto with Gwen and later regrets it when Ianto finds out about it.
Jack gave into his weakness when he should have said no.

Jack & Gwen certainly do have chemistry, like chlorine and ammonia make mustard gas. You're ignoring critical elements of the _real_plot_. Gwen already had an affair she regrets. Even before she was engaged, Jack sent her home to her normal life _with_Rhys_ when he could have had it on with her. Now she's married, & she may have been invited to play naked hide-and-seek, she wasnt asked to stick around for the post-game celebratory shag.
Stil, for the invented plot, it is well put together.
